What is the profit?
The
profit on our foods program is 40% based on selling 300 items of
product.
How does the product arrive at the school?
The
driver and his aid will help get all product into the school for your
group to organize. Each students name and teachers name will be on
their box.
Will a foods brochure sell more than a gifts and nic-nacs brochure?
That answer is unequivocally yes! And, the people in your community
will be much more pleased with the products they bought and are not
embarrassed to deliver to their neighbors and co-workers.
What happens when people don’t show up to pick up their frozen food?
We have no freezer space in our school.
Big
Yummy Foods offers a service where we bring a freezer trailer to your
school the day of the distribution for just such events. The trailer
will stay overnight and be picked up later the next day after you have
contacted those that didn’t make it.
How does Big Yummy handle missing and damaged items?
After a
3 day period of collecting adjustments at the school or through the
parent group we expect to receive a fax from your school listing these
adjustments. They will be packed and shipped that day for delivery
usually the next day.
How does the money work?
Your
school collects the money and verifies accuracy for each child. Once
the orders are ready to be shipped to Big Yummy, you can go ahead and
put a check for 60% of the total sale, written to Big Yummy Foods. You
keep the remaining money, 40% profit to your school.
